In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Mysterious pluginI responded to five different emails from you asking how the plugin (not CPTUI) was installed on your website. As I explained over and over again, there is absolutely no way for us to know that. None of our plugin “auto create” a new plugin. If you don’t know what it is, delete it.
Sorry you feel like we should have the magic ability to know how things were installed on your own website, but that’s not how any of this works.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Do not purchase the extended versionYes you did, in which you called us crooks, and demanded a refund. The refund was processed in 3 hours.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Do not purchase the extended versionI would have went to the website, clicked the CONTACT button, and reached out asking for support.
It does sound like you uncovered a bug on our website, which we will dig in to.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Do not purchase the extended versionHi Steve,
Sorry you feel this way. I do want to point out that we mention in multiple places on our website that you will be auto-charged every 6-months to keep your license and support active: http://bradw.illiams.com/1SHsUJ
We will gladly refund anyone that contacts us if they want to cancel and did not intend to renew. Just fill out our contact form https://pluginize.com/contact/ or email us directly [email protected].
I also see within 3 hours of you requesting a refund it was processed. Don’t assume everyone is a “crook” (as you called us) without actually trying to talk to someone first.
Ultimately you left a 1-star review on a 100% free product that we have invested hundreds of hours into building and supporting over the years. This has nothing to do with Custom Post Type UI directly, which is unfortunate.

In reply to: An automated WordPress update has failed to completeI think the solution is to wait until GoDaddy pushes the update, which is starting today so will hopefully happen fairly soon. If not I would contact their Managed WP support about it.

In reply to: An automated WordPress update has failed to completeApparently this is caused by WordPress core trying to install the update automatically on GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting. GD blocks it and pushes out the update through their system, which they have confirmed is starting today.
Based on what they are saying this update should happen soon automatically.
On MWP we handle the update, deploys started shortly after 4.7.1 dropped. This email came from core trying to update itself.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] New Ads Slow EVERYTHING Down3 images served from the WPE CDN will never take 30-seconds to load, so either you have horribly slow internet or something else is going on. We can’t reproduce on our side with our testing at all.
Also calling us dumb knowing we spend hundreds of unpaid hours on a plugin that we release for free isn’t the best way to get support. ๐
This is definitely not a bug and honestly not something I feel belongs in this plugin.
You can easily delete this content using default WordPress core features, so why would we reinvent the wheel here?

In reply to: ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser.Artem’s response helped me debug and figure out my problem. The problem was wp-config had define(‘COOKIE_DOMAIN’, ‘www.liveurl.com’);, but I was logging into a staging site with a different URL. I updated the URL to be the proper URL, cleared my browser cached, and was able to log right in.
Thanks!
