Uuh uuh uuh! I just found another GREAT pluging for WP.
It’s called WordPress Automatic Upgrader..
This is not an add the plugin is free and works fantastically.

You may need to create a new database in mySql. Seem i had a similar issue in the past and I deleted the original database and created another
(actually used the same db name) did a completely new install with no problems.
