@ Chad – Correct. Not your fault I guess.
Might be troublesome for users who went the WP-Members-registration-way and are not pre-registered by admin as in the video?Didn’t attempt to fix anything though, as I don’t know exactly how to.
Installed > didn’t work > deactivated WP-Members and Private! > still didn’t work > removed WP Client File Share. As other people already had similar issues in similar threads WITH NO RESPOND I went a bit upset. This really should not happen.
Really would love this to work on my site.
Can’t have it all it seems…OK, found WP-Members as a good addition to this.
Thanks for release.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] [Plugin: WP-Members] languagesGerman translation for fields and buttons do not seem to work for this on my site. Do I have to install any mo.or po. stuff in addition to just having a german WP-install (version 3.3.2–de_DE)?
Thanks in advance.Forum: Plugins

Watch in IE9 for showing. Not aware of any filters or p-tags that’d be used.

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] [Plugin: WP-Members] Customize submit buttonHi Chad and fellas!
Great plugin this is, thanks for sharing I first have to say.
Been fumbling around with it for almost a day now, but haven’t tried the above yet, as I didn’t understand it exactly.
I’m no expert, so sorry for stupid qustions. I don’t know about filters and messing with the CSS or theme stuff, but I can edit simple code in html or php.So is it possible to change the “LOGIN” “CLEAR FORM” and “SUBMIT” buttons within the plugin?
If not,
– I would suggest this feature for the next update. Just think of different languages, wich is my actual reason for wanting this adjusted. (I’m on german version and the buttons actually are not translated)
– how exactly can I get this going with simplest code possible? Thanks again.
Warning!
Don’t waste your time. This does not work at all it seems.
A “WP Client File Share” page is created, but without upload/download interface.
No “client′s File Share Page” is created.
Not with “WP-Members” and “Private! WordPress Access Control Manager” and not without them. I didn’t deactivate the other, very common plugins I have installed, only the above mentioned, because they engage in user restrictions.
So this may work with a blank WP install like in the video – great for those with no content! To the devs: take responsibility for your code and name the known problems/restrictions it has instead of letting people run into such unnecessary issues. That gives bad karma!
Could have been a nice plugin though…
Is it really ok to drop any such code anywhere in the “style.css”?
I as well may have put it also at the beginning of the css?
Thanks again for your superfast response!Thank you so much smile-a-byte. That did the trick.
I just added it to the end of the “style.css”, hope that’s right.
Works great now, thanks again!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [New User Approve] [Plugin: New User Approve] no email notification for adminI found another solution (WP-Members), need that anyway.
So nevermind.PS: I use WP as a simple CMS for my homepage without a blog. I have no articles, categories, tags or feeds – only pages.
I want restricted acces only for one or two pages, where people have to login to view them.
Please advise.
