In reply to: [Appointment Scheduler] Too Short of FieldsFor multiline and simple markdown, I would highly suggest using TEXT or LONG TEXT depending on the amount and how much data is to be stored. Think about how the “Company Address” is stored from your plugin. As you see here form the MySQL docs for what string types:
https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/string-type-overview.html
I’ll reach out and help you out with getting this up to par, as this is an exact resemblance of a project that I started in 2002 and stopped development in 2007 for an appointment scheduling system. Back prior to WordPress’ popularity. 🙂 So, I would highly support your project as it has GREAT potential and amazingly you responded too!
I love VARCHAR as well, but there’s a time when it comes to DB structure, you have to really think about how it’s best used and etc. 🙂
Yeah, but your setting doesn’t stay if I put that option…
I think we accidentally found this by chance here:
“The blue button that states ‘Form Options’ when on the form you’re working on.”
That would be cool if you could add that in there, sorry for the trouble here. 🙂
I have to agree on this interface here, it’s not at all pleasing to view.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Bulk Percentage Pricing] Times Out on Massive ProductsFeel free to reach out to me, I have a lot of websites you can test with me on prior to release. I did get the rating adjusted as well. Thanks for such diligent and outstanding work sir!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Bulk Percentage Pricing] Times Out on Massive ProductsMy rating has changed to 5 star for your attempt, I do appreciate this, so let’s hope we can help work on increasing this within your code. Just a FYI, this will not help:
<IfModule mod_php5.c> php_value max_execution_time 30000 </IfModule>Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [WooCommerce Bulk Percentage Pricing] Times Out on Massive ProductsI’ve increased the timeout to -1 and still it sits there for about an hour, had to kill it via cmdline. I appreciate all of what you’re trying to do here. If there is a way to modify my post I would give you a ten star I would.
So if anyone is reading this review, do note this developer is actually making his best effort on getting this product to work for “Massive amount” of products. So if you have a site with under 20k products, all the better. I tested this on a site with an excess of 3.4M+ products and it’s a no go. You may wanna download and help this developer out in the bigger end. If we had more time here we would. I’m unsure how to modify my rating, but surely hope we can get this review removed so I can re-review his plugin accordingly.
Yep, just reporting in what I found and thought you guys would appreciate that at the least. 🙂
Paul,
No sir, I’m into webservices development, and none of that is free… Totally understand you sir! Hope to see this paid version though, but promise me one thing… Don’t link that within your plugin or on the about page here. Perhaps a way to make it stand out, and hopefully other plugin authors see how you do it uniquely without the. “big ole’ banner up top of your plugin that flashes, “HAHA You got Pwnt, now upgrade to Pro to really be protected.”
So perhaps a way is:
Custom Tab within the plugin with your about:
“Click here for an even greater product that’s appealing to the eyes, that’s if you wanted to help support this project.” Then show them the sales page for this plugin but moreso on steroids for the eyes. 🙂
