Sharing is caring – my solution:
First I uploaded the plugin as stated in the readme files. Than things didn’t work, like they’re supposed to. Here’s what I did to fix it:
- Downloaded the mailchimp-api-php repository from here: https://bitbucket.org/mailchimp/mailchimp-api-php/downloads
- Unzipped the download, and looked for the ‘src’ directory
- Copy-pasted the ‘src’ directory to my WordPress installation – copied it to here to be exact: plugins/link-roundups/vendor/mailchimp-api-php
- Activated the plugin – no error message this time
