In reply to: [Postie] Postie not working after move to wpengineSo, the Support AddOn produced no output. I installed it, then updated to the latest version. Ran it, got the 502 error, and there’s nothing in my media library. Also tried running the debug output, and got the same thing, 502 error and no debug output. But it generated a bunch of errors on the server that I will mail to your [email protected].

In reply to: [Postie] Postie not working after move to wpengineI had not, because I had no reason to believe the problem is coming from them. Our email is hosted through google.
But I just chatted with them. Nothing should be preventing postie from working as far as they are concerned. They did note that before the username and password fails in the plugin, they see this error in the logs:

When I switch to cURL, I get a 502 error for the page. I’ve tried it multiple times and am getting it consistently.
I’m running php 5.6.

I’ve also tried re-entering the full username and password in case there was a typo. I also tried resetting the password and then re-entering the password in postie. I continue to get the same error and can’t get this working.

The ad blocking plugin DoNotTrackMe changed it’s name to Blur. I didn’t recognize it by name as an ad blocking plugin that I had installed.

I thought of both javascript and an ad blocker, and had already double-checked the javascript was on and that I didn’t have an ad blocker. But I will try disabling plugins one by one and see if any are interfering, and report back.

In reply to: Upgrade to 4.1.1 prevents me from editing pagesAs far as I’m concerned this is a files issues and not a database issue because by reverting to 4.1 from 4.1.1 and making no changes to the database, this issue is fixed for me. But I’d like to be running 4.1. Since I have no plugins installed, it isn’t a plugin conflict. I would appreciate someone pointing me at the new thread when you have a chance, because I need some help with this one.

I misunderstood that checkbox even though I looked at the documentation, and so I had it checked. Unchecking it fixed it. Perhaps when I upgraded that setting changed. Now all the behavior is as it was before. Thanks!
I thought I remember from before the domain mapping update that the permalinks that showed within the dashboard, when I’m editing a page, below the title would show divorcelawyermn.com/mypage. And the same thing, that when I would create an anchor/link to a page within the website, that when the box popped up with internal pages, that it would show divorcelawyermn.com/page-to-link-to, rather than divorcelawyermn.winswebs.com/page-to-link-to. Same sort of thing in the media library. I thought when I first set up domain mapping, that all of these things just showed divorcelawyermn.com and didn’t have to always be edited. Do I remember wrong? I don’t have another multi-site install I can look at.

Yep, I have. If you look at the comments, a ton of folks can’t get it working. They updated the directions recently after someone commented with what was missing, and it got a few people working. But, it still fails for a bunch of us.
