In reply to: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Block_Type_Registry’ not found@betagoo You are a life saver mate!!
Thank you!Hello Chriscct7 and twellibaum
Have you guys found a way to stop them using the plugin editor system built into WordPress?
We are also being plagued by this $globals hack with kidslug and another one that Wordfence picks up (can’t remember what the other is called)Would luuuuuve to stop these guys!
Thanks.
Yep, if it’s not going to get fixed then we might as well move to another plugin for this. Pity. I’ll give Mail Bank a try. Thanks @fssbob for the recommendation.

In reply to: [Exploit Scanner] WordPress 4.9 Core HashesForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Exploit Scanner] When will be updated?unfortunately you need the hashfile for WordPress so that it doesn’t give you those false positives. I haven’t find a valid 4.9+ hashes file yet and hoping someone can make one for us.

In reply to: [Exploit Scanner] WordPress 4.9 Core HashesYour link is no longer valid? Just gives a 404 error.
Anyone else have the correct hashes for WordPress 4.9+ ??Goodness gracious me Mark. The OP is correct. Your user interface designer needs a few lessons in UI design principles. I’ve been in the industry for more than 20 years and every time I want to look at something in Wordfence I want to immediately close it down and get another security solution for my clients.
Take a simple task like whitelisting an action a user has just done that Wordfence has incorrectly blocked. I’ll be damned if I can figure out where to even begin looking for this and I’ve tried 4 times already.
It’s just exceptionally poor design. Sorry, but it is. No matter what the new focus is.

In reply to: [Add From Server] File Import won’t work (no entry in the database)Yes, looks like this plugin has become a hit-and-miss. I’m experiencing limited imports on my AFS runs. – like less than 5% successfully import into the media library. I’ve tried this across multiple websites and get the same hit-and-miss result. Very frustrating.

In reply to: [Add From Server] Not importing everythingI also have only about 2-5% of the images importing.
Chowardart, I don’t understand your explanation of how you solved this.
I don’t see any Uploads folder inside the AFS plugin’s folder.
Do you mean that I need to first move all the image files I want to import into the folder path …/wp-content/uploads/ ?
Then run AFS on the wp-content/uploads/ directory?I don’t think I’ll ever be able to convince them to change their coding.
Is there any work around?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Youtube Channel Gallery] ipRefererBlockedHi Eva, I’m getting the same response on this website (http://sassyfit.com.au/videos-personal-trainer-upper-coomera-gold-coast/) and cannot find the solution anywhere. I’ve also tried the “YouTube” WordPress plugin, which is easier to set up, but now I’m getting “Sorry, there was a YouTube API error: The referrer null does not match does not match the referrer restrictions configured on your API key. Please use the API Console to update your key restrictions.”
I think it has something to do with our API key setup in Google Console, but no matter what I try it still gives me errors.
In another forum the error you are getting (same as the error I received when I also used the YouTube Channel Gallery plugin), it was found that it was a Google issue and Google had blocked the IP address. I’m hosting with Hostgator, so I hope it’s not Google blocking the IP address of websites on Hostgator.
