I have switched my theme from photocrati to customizr,
Now I have the same problem, when running in customizr, the select button does not work, however the zoom feature and select button inside of the zoom does work. Sorry I cant provide a link as I am running photocrati while my clients are currently proofing photos.
any ideas?
btw no caching plugins are installed.

KellyThanks euthelup, it was wp optimize messing me up. Once I deactivated the WP Optimize, then the plugin (1.1.0) works beautifully. Thank you for getting with me so quickly, this plugin is one of a kind.
