I must say a big thank you to both RCOOshop and Threadi.
I worked through it with the Hostgator Support and the problem was a file I created while following instructions to build the site with AI. I changed my mind without cleaning up. That was the conflicting file.
The site is now visible and editable. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for the perfect directions to do the site file migration.
Perhaps I should have taken a step further back to deal with the first problem…
I have the two domains. I have a hosting account for them and I have WP installed. To get to the migration steps, I need to learn how to setup my files in connection with WP. I see both site files in CPanel but how to I get them to appear in WP and how do I toggle between the sites?
Currently, I’m looking for guidance from a Fiverr freelancer if I can find one.
