Well I was able to locate the title= comment but nothing pertaining to alt. Removing title= does give me the results I’m looking for (eliminating the pop up of “Permanent link to:”). However I would like to further that by removing any other descriptive tooltips that pop up when you hover over them, including on the sidebar.

I may be mistaken but I believe these are tooltips, (?) not too familiar with the terminology. To give an example, google.com has no tooltips when hovering over links to various parts of the website.

So are they all controlled through the .CSS or index.php or do I need to look somewhere else to make the changes to wordpress, not just the theme?

Also if this does break validation, is it possible to edit the color of these tooltips to lessen their contrast against the background?

Thank you very much for help so far.

I’m not particularly proud of my site yet so I’ll just post the theme I’m using. “ChaoticSoul”
