It was found as an update to original version. I am not sure why it happened since slug is different.
I have lost the customization in a number of sites. Also lost the files uploaded using the form since cforms save the upload to the plugin folder instead of uploads folder.
I had auto update on a number of sites. That was why over 50+ sites got updated to new version. Had to spent hours restoring backup and checking everything 🙁
WordPress.Me is just a username I use here. I don’t own that domain. Think it is already owned by WordPress. Atleast the nameservers point to WordPress.com
When i register to sites, it’s my habit to use Sitename+me as username. Here when I tried wordpressme was already used. So I tried adding a dot and I got this username. Really sorry for any confusion.
I am also having same issue with 4.0.5.
