Firstly, thank you for getting back to me. Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been busy.
To me, “…when a user clicks on a gallery within an album, it dynamically loads that gallery inline on what seems to be the same page, replacing the album content with the selected gallery.” isn’t responsive, it’s simply dynamic. Responsive would be the ability to dictate the number of image columns shown on desktop, tablet and mobile, plus to have different thumbnail sizes. For instance 5 columns on desktop, 3-4 on a tablet and 2 on a mobile. Then each device has different thumbnail sizes. Currently it’s the same for all.
I’ve tried your suggestions above and they don’t work. To be honest nothing changes. I tried using “Pretty” and “Querystring” and nothing, apart from the url in the domain.
Another issue is getting it to create a “Gallery Page”. Unless you do this before adding the gallery code other pages, the button disappears and you have to REMOVE the code from ALL pages so that this message…
…appears again, other wise you only see a list of pages it is being used on…
It would be handy to always show “Create Gallery Page”, even when being used on other pages.
As you say, I guess this is feedback, but sadly, in its current form, this plugin doesn’t work for my needs.
As I say, I updated to PHP 8 and the plugin failed. As soon as I switched it to 7.4, it worked fine. I’ve just tried again and the same thing happened.

Strange it doesn’t work with 8, then it did with 7.4. That was the only thing I changed. I didn’t deactivate any of the plugins. Hmmmmm. Prehaps there is a conflict with one of the other plugins above.
