Hello Adam
Thank you very much for your very expansive and helpful description. I had to rearrange the site since I asked hence you could not find the form anymore.
Now it all makes sense a lot more and I tried it and it actually works wonderfully. Thank you so much.Hello Kris
Here is the link to the form https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IAeqOZ3HVJTJncydrkqBvB-IbTqx8wkL/view?usp=drive_link
Also I can confirm that I am using the https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/shortcode-to-display-post-and-user-data/ plugin.
Thank you.
Hello Kris
I hope you are well too. Thank you for your answer.
I already have the fields mapped in the POST DATA field under CUSTOM FIELDS.
The plugin uses the code [vg_display_data key=”name-1″ data_source=”post_data”] to display the data.
So one of the data fields in Forminator is called {name-1}, would this not populate the vg_display_data key=”name-1″?Also, data_source=”post_data”, is the term “post_data” correct?
Or is there a better / different way how I could access the additional information in that post?
I am not sure if we have the same problem and I must say it worked flawlessly before.
There are two custom fields, one is a required one (radio buttons), the other one a text field just optional. https://snipboard.io/TyvX7i.jpg
WordPress, WooCommerce and Divi are all on the latest version and all the plugins are updated too.
I have reinstalled the Checkout Field Manager just to be sure but the result is:
– The required field does not prompt the user for an input
– The required field only ever passes on the value of the YES
– The comment field is not passed on at all.

Thank you
Thank you for your answer, I was in contact with the Divi developers and they say that this is not supported yet.
However, I could work around that if a category has subcategories that this top category could not be clicked on (meaning only the subcategories are clickable, so only products of those subcategories would show) …. is that possible?Example: https://westernex.com.au/our-range … click on CIVIL then only the subcategories are opened on the menu..
this is exactly what I did and it is set that way … does not change anything
@iksstudio Here is a screenshot. I have clicked on CIVIL, I should see on the right hand side the subcategories of CIVIL but instead I see all the products that are sitting in all of the subcategories. https://snipboard.io/rha3w5.jpg
Does this makes sense now?
Thank you, here are the screenshots requested:

Yes, this is what I am asking, yes, they are categories but when you click on the parent category CIVIL you only see the products NOT the subcategories. What we need when CIVIL is clicked on that only the subcategories “EQUIPMENT, SAFETY and SURVEY” are shown.
I love your suggestion minus the bit to save it into the product’s short description. We still would like them as attributes.
Do you know of php scripts that could be called through a code snippet to add the option of an URL to the attribute to accomplish the task?
Thank you Linux4me2. It is great suggestion however the data was migrated from a Joomla website and we are looking at about 7000 records that would need to be changed.
Thank you …
Regarding item 2: If I click on https://westernex.com.au/wordpress/product-category/civil/ I still see the products which are sitting in the subcategories called EQUIPMENT, SAFETY and SURVEY. However the listing of these categories does not show.
When I used another plugin, I always used the HTML version of the sitemap to provide a link with a great overview of the site through it. It is crucial to have it.
