Actually, switching it to 2015 in the client’s environment doesn’t fix anything. However a completely new build with 2015 theme fixes the issue…

I’m using 64-bit and I’m also testing on a few different machines (Windows and Mac), so I doubt that’s the reason.
I went ahead and did the set up on 2015 theme and it all shows without a problem, however my client’s theme is custom built and they obviously want to keep it. I went ahead and followed the directions for optimizing their theme for Eventbrite, but the error persists.
