    Hello,
Thank you for reporting this. We are able to reproduce this issue when we made a Chart JS Line Chart from an Excel linked table.
We used the same date format, as per your screenshots, the default d/m/Y, placed some dummy dates and they render well in the table, but look strange on the chart X axis.

We passed this to our QA Team for further testing. It seems it is a bug with our latest Lite version, but we will report back to confirm this for you as soon as possible.
    Thank you for your patience.

    Hello,
We are glad to see you resolved this issue. We will consider it temporarily resolved, but we are still curious to find what happened, as you described, which two options you edited exactly when that issue happened…
If possible, could you try to record a Video of reproducing that issue again ( or if it happens again at any time, you can try to ‘catch it on a Video’) then send it to us, so we can see how the table looks at the back-end and which options you edited?
If it does not show any sensitive data, you can upload it anywhere like weTransfer and send us a download link here.
Or if it shows any sensitive data, it is best to open a private pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code, and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible to review the Video and we can try to reproduce the same issue here/to check if we might have a bug.

There is no rush if you resolved it for the time being, but we would still like to try and isolate it, so if you find the time for that soon, it would be great.

    Kind regards.

    Hello,
Firstly, can you confirm do you have our Lite version or Premium version installed, just to be sure?
Then let’s go over other important points, please :

    1. It seems you did not send us the full warning messages, they look ‘cut off’, there should be more text after “string deprecated in” such as to show the file and the line of code where the warning points to.
So could you please send us the full warning error text?

    2. Can you confirm did you notice any functionality issues with our Plugin?
There should be no functionality issues, just some warnings like these and notices are possible to happen if you have WP DEBUG enabled.

    ( For production version of websites, the WP DEBUG should be disabled);

You can always send us any PHP warnings, notices, deprecated messages, etc., and our developers will work on removing them in future versions.

Just to double-check, do you have the latest Lite wpDataTables version installed?

    The current should be 3.4.2.22.

    Our QA Team and the developers will try to reproduce getting those warnings;

but can you please send us screenshots or text of your System info details, which can be found on our Plugin’s back-end Page, then we will pass them to our Developer Team for further isolation and a fix in future versions if we can reproduce them?

We are testing the Plugin for all these PHP Versions :

    PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and PHP 8.3.

    5116557857.png

    Can you please also let us know, did you notice, are those warnings happening during a specific moment, such as loading of a specific table;

    and the type of the table;

if you can provide any additional details like that, to make it easier for us to try and reproduce the same warnings, etc.

    Thank you.

    Hello,
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

We are unable to load the URL/Page you sent http://useless,%20you%20don’t%20see%20anything/.

In regards to the error message, it seems to be pointing to an issue with an advanced column filter type, but this (filtering) is not available in the Lite/free version.
Can you please confirm do you have the Lite or Premium wpDataTables?

If you have the Lite version, that is very strange, but it could be a conflict.
Can you please check do the tables from that front end Page load without issues when you load them at the back-end in WP-Admin?

If this is the case, wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept-based plugin.

This means that the table should look the same both in the back-end and in the front-end.

If your front-end table looks and behaves differently than in the back-end, this usually implies that there is another plugin (or the current theme) that’s changing the behavior of our plugin.

Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved?

If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be).

If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred.

Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.

Let me know if you isolate a conflict with these steps.

    2. Or, if you have the premium version, please open a ticket on our main Support platform here,

and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.

If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Hello,
Our apologies for the initial response, as you were specifically asking about SQLite.

You are correct that, at the moment, there is no straightforward built-in way to integrate SQLite. This limitation is not specific to our plugin but rather a general limitation of WordPress, which does not have native or out-of-the-box support for SQLite.

A potential custom workaround might involve using a third-party plugin and possibly custom coding (although we can’t confirm this for sure). If you decide to install an SQLite integration plugin, such as “SQLite Integration,” it could allow WordPress to use an SQLite database. After that, you could attempt to add an external database connection through our plugin, provided everything is configured correctly. However, please note that we cannot guarantee this will work, as we haven’t tested such a setup, and our support does not cover custom work.

We are unable to provide further details on this forum regarding this subject because this forum is dedicated to the Lite/free version of our plugin, which does not support SQL tables.

For questions about premium features, please open a pre-purchase ticket through our main support channel.

    Kind regards.

    Hello,
Firstly, thank you for the kind words about our Plugin, we are glad to see it is serving well for your use-case.
In regards to a native integration with the ‘AG Grid library’, at the moment, we do not have this planned, but you can make a development suggestion if you’d like.
Please feel free to search on our suggestions page (https://features.wpdatatables.com/), to see if someone may be already suggested this feature.
If you can’t see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list. You can certainly follow our changeLog if you’d like(https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpdatatables/#developers), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates; and our newsletter(https://wpdatatables.com/newsletter/), so you’re informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    Hello,
    Yes, we have that feature.
Auto-refresh feature for the tables, using the built-in functionality of our premium plugin is only possible if you create server-side processing enabled tables, such as a manual table, or a server-side enabled SQL query-based table. This option will appear on the “Data source” tab above the table.
That being said, this feature is not available in our Lite/free Plugin, and this Forum is made only for Lite/Free Plugin version Support, so we are not allowed to discuss any further details here.

If you have any further questions on that subject, please open a ticket on our main Support platform here and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.

If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.

    Hello,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

You are right, we can reproduce this issue with our PDF Export from the Table Tools if we create 20 or more columns in the Table with some long text, we tried all the available PDF Paper Size variations, and none of them can fully show the 20 columns.

It shows up to 19 columns and ‘almost’ the 20th column, but not fully. And if you have more than 20 columns in your table, they can not all fit on that exported PDF at the moment.

First, to answer your specific questions, sorry to disappoint you, but currently it is not possible to specify a wider PDF paper size than A3 from the built-in options.

We also do not have the possibility to specify a “fit to width” so that all columns fit exactly on pdf paper width.

The table tools functionalities are based on a 3rd party HTML5 library and they are not customizable. Unfortunately, the library allows very little “fine-tuning” of the generated files.

Mostly due to this and other factors, our developers are not able to change this functionality at this time.

We will do our best to try to somehow improve that in the future, but we are unable to promise a realistic ETA on it.

If you wish, you can affect the development speed for better PDF export options by adding your own development suggestion for it.

Pease feel free to search on our suggestions page (https://features.wpdatatables.com/), to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can’t see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog if you’d like(https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpdatatables/#developers), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter(https://wpdatatables.com/newsletter/), so you’re informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
For the time being, if you wish to try improved PDF export functionalities, our advice would be to acquire something similar to the WP Advanced PDF plugin, which offers a lot more options when creating PDF files from our tables, along with other content on your website.

    Kind regards.

    Hello,
Apologies for going back and forth like this today.
Our developers went through everything again and we found useful details for you.

Basically, the first part of the code <style id=”wpdt-custom-style-17″></style> is from the Simple table creation.

Our Plugin is automatically generating this, so you should remove it if there is no custom style included with it.

The second part is coming from your Global Plugin settings ( Main Plugin settings/Color and Font settings), where you most probably still have the style you added there.

Can you please check and reset those settings, then the issue should be resolved?

Let us know how it goes.
    Thank you.

    (@wpdatatables)

    Hello again,
Apologies, we forgot to add one more detail our developers mentioned.
If the said suggestion from above does not help, can you please try to elaborate/clarify a bit more, if you can send us more details as to where are you implementing this element exactly, perhaps the issue could be with the method/way how you are trying to achieve/add it.

You can add screenshots or even better record a Video of your screen to show us these details/steps etc.
If the screenshots/ Video contains any sensitive data, then it is best to open a private new ticket on our main Support platform here, and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible to proceed there in further details, you can just refer to our correspondence.

If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.

    Hello,
We spoke with our developers for advice, they went through all the details you sent.
They notice one line you used :

     <style id="wpdt-custom-style-17"></style>

Can you please try removing that part, then check, does that resolve the said error?
    Thank you.

    Hello,
Yes. Pie charts ( and donut charts) do not have the Series tab in the Chart Wizard settings, because they have different logic compared to other chart types. There is only one possible series in that case.
Changing the color on pie charts can be done with custom wpdatachart callbacks

You can check examples how that is done here:

    For Google charts https://wpdatatables.com/faqmd/change-color-pie-chartgoogle-chart/

    For Chartjs https://wpdatatables.com/faqmd/change-color-pie-chartchart-js/

    For Highcharts https://wpdatatables.com/faqmd/change-color-pie-charthighcharts/

Please note, on our Lite Plugin version you will have the GoogleCharts and Chart.js engines, but the HighCharts are only available in our premium version.

    Hello,
In that example table on our Documentation Page, there is no value in the Country column as “u.k”, but the value is rather written as “United Kingdom (Great Britain)”.
That is why the “u.k” value searched is not found in the table cells.

If you try it like this, then it will work to show one result of the United Kingdom row : https://wpdatatables.com/documentation/table-features/global-search-via-url/?wdt_search=United Kingdom.

Please note, the advanced filtering is not available in the Lite version, so if you have any further questions about filtering, please open a ticket on our main Support platform here, and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.

    Hello,
Our Lite Plugin version does not have any SQL Query based table capabilities.
We do have a Multiple DB engine connections support (MySQL, MS SQL, Postgre SQL) which you can check out on this Documentation, but this Forum is made only to be used for our Lite Plugin Support, so we are not able to go into any details about premium features here.

If you require more details about any premium functionality of the plugin, please open a ticket on our main Support platform here and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.

    Hi there.

We can’t replicate this issue locally. If we use <strike>Column1</strike> it shows like this: https://prnt.sc/Zi_BmeAf1-yo

When we check your page, we also can’t see the issue: https://prnt.sc/bQ8hMLtcilJD. Was this resolved in the meantime or can you still see the issue?
