In reply to: [WP w3all phpBB] phpBB dont appear in WP pageHello axew3, I changed the url without the www. and the behavior is the same as before. I do not know why before it worked well without changing the link on the board and now when it is supposed to be wrong it does not work properly.
Avatars are a pain in the ass and I have disabled the option to link avatars because I could not get it to work, now I have a different avatar for wp and phpBB for the same user. WP and phpBB have different MySQL databases, I do not know if this can be a problem.
If i enable the options in your plugin the avatar does not appear in wordpress, the question mark appears instead of the avatar phpBB.
If you want I can re-enable the option if you are going to make tests to create users or comment in forums, if you need more access we can speak by private. If I can help you solve problems, I’m delighted, and if you can lend me a hand too!

The URL of the main site was set to ‘contandoovejas.com’ and I changed it to ‘https://www.contandoovejas.com’ as indicated, the bad thing is that now the behavior is strange.
Now when I click on the forum logo the home (inicio) is loaded but in iframe, for a few seconds two menus appear until it is reloaded and looks correctly. This has a solution? Why it happens?
– The ACP continues to have strange behavior, when I try to log in from iframe it opens and it stays for a few seconds, then it automatically directs me to the forum page making it impossible to do any operation.
However, when I access by url I can enter but it seems that there is a problem with cookies. If I open the browser for the first time and access by URL to the forum, the user’s cookie is saved and the user is logged in, when I log in to the ACP, he asks me for the administrator password again and when I want to access the browser he says that he could not connect to the server. I return to the forum by URL and click on the button to enter the ACP no longer asks me the administrator password and enter without problems.
– I thought the problem with avatars, if I create a user phpBB with avatar the avatar is not seen in wp, but I have not tried to do it in reverse because in wp is only the option of gravatars. I have seen that there are plugins for the modification of avatars from wp not to have to be limited to use gravatar, if insalase some of them would generate some conflict with your plugin? Could help?

When I load the phpBB forum the scrolling does not work properly, I try to scroll down and it seems to freeze, but at some point it scrolls and then freezes again.
Can this be an iframe problem?

Problems:
Avatar: Instead of avatars shows a question mark icon, like no linked icon. The settings are all Ok. The strange thing is that in phpBB the avatars appear without any problem.
ACP: The behavior is strange, I usually can not get access via iframe to ACP, only a blank page or a browser message is displayed, other times it displays the ACP correctly, but redirects it to the main forum, not more than 4 seconds can be displayed.
Preloader: It would be very good, people without patience maybe will think the forum does not work.

Continuing with the problem of the web, is contandoovejas.com, the problem as well questions is that I can not access the ACP from WP iframe and yes from URL.
There is also the problem with the avatars that I still can not solve it, I have the option that you comment on Use phpBB avatar to replace WordPress user’s avatar but do not overwrite WP avatars. Both WP site and HTTP URL in plugin config are HTTPS.
Finally and just to know if it is possible, there would be some way to put a text, image or something similar to explain that the forum is loading while it is appearing? Sometimes it takes quite a while to load and could be fine.
I understand that you have to be very busy with the search for a new home and work, for this I thank you in advance all your previous help and I hope everything comes out well and in the best way possible.
If you could help me it would be great but they are not big problems, I will be watching for something new, I hope everything goes well.

Im still having some issues, they are little ones and sure easy to solve ..
The problem is about avatars, the link between WP and phpBB doesnt work. I created the gallery of avatars in phpBB and edited my user but when I go to WP the avatar dont appears, only ask for Gravatars. The other issue is that I cant access ACP from my website, a message about refuse connection from my website appears, i can only have acces from browser to phpBB3 index. This is a normal behavior?

I’m having problems with user registration, in the end I got the widgets of your plugin to be displayed in the widget bar, when there is a user cookie active the widget correctly displays the user data but when there is no user login and I have filled in the form I get this error https://ibb.co/e6LSPF.
Edit the file login_form_include_iframe_mode_links.php so that the texts appear in Spanish and can justify the fields of user and password creating a table and I realized later that I did not use anything since it initially did not work.
Forgive me but I do not understand well the solution that you give me so that the registration and login of users will be functional. I do not know if to install some kind of extra wordpress plugin for login, keep your widget or how to continue. Before knowing phpbb used BuddyPress for login and forums, then delete everything when viewing your plugin and get to know phpBB, right now I do not know how to continue to work correctly.

Im talking with theme support about the template and im waiting for their answer but now im seeying the web and i cant visualize the Login widgets of phpbb, i want to have access to login/register users of phpBB3 and WP linked at home, i hope this can archieve with login widget, im correct?

Now with heightCalculationMethod: ‘bodyOffset’ is the only one that manages to adapt the iframe without increasing without end the height of the web.

Now the phpBB header is cut off from the beginning and not cut when I scroll. Another problem is that every time I resize the window and scroll the page it starts to grow in height constantly and the wordpress footer goes away.
Access to ACP from forums is still reload page and return to forums but if i access from domain.com/phpBB3/index.html, outside the wordpress, i can access with no problems to ACP.

Yeah, I was already testing heightCalculationMethod (active and disable) before your message arrived and I was about to write to you, it seems that the best that works for me is BodyScroll like you said but only when I’m in full width and scroll down I cut the header and I have to update the page until I return to scroll.
It is a minor problem compared to this other so strange that happens with the ACP, when I enter from the menu of phpBB, ACP is loaded but in seconds automatically reloads the page and i cant access. In other words, if I open the ACP from ‘contandoovejas.com/forums’ it loads but reloads the forums page back.
I tried to assign some class of my theme like you said but dont make any changes. I see the page.php of template and see this

Now it loads almost perfectly, i still have a little problem with the way it fits the screen. When I am in full width the iframe cuts the header of the forum, as the responsive acts and decreases the width of the web the iframe adapts well. What can be?

I was trying to change the server configuration by checking the port and in the URL I added ‘https://www.contandoovejas.com’, from that moment I am not able to see the forum again, much less enter the PCA again, Is it possible to edit some file where you save that configuration and edit it to what was written before?

I edit the SQL database in phpMyAdmin the phpBB_config table with the corrected values and use SQL Query ‘REPAIR TABLE phpbb_log’ to have access again to PCA (ACP) with my user.
Still having the same issue with the httpS in iframe, if i edit it in browser Inspector, the src to https and put values for height in iframe event, works fine, but i cant solve where fix that automatically, hope i explain well..
This is one error of Inspector Console of Chrome:
