In reply to: [Bookings +] No reply, no serviceYou purchased a fake plugin from a fake company and that’s what happened. The people behind it have stolen the code of the wp-obs and were trying make a quick buck.
If you are after a good product, I strongly suggest you check out the real thing at the wp-obs website

Thanks for the follow up and for reporting this issues. actually this issue only come to live if you are using FTP to extract your files and not doing it via “Binary Mode”
The team has been very busy working on a brand new v3 release and many of the issues are solved there. We hope to be able to adopt the v3 to the free wordpress version ASAP, but it will be first release as part of the Premium range with the 14 days trial.

For local installation you probably want to try and download the free 14 days trial here. (it doesn’t cost anything and no payment methods are needed.But at least you will get to see it in full swing together with the Mailchimp integration and the PayPal integration (should you need them)

It is odd indeed. I cant really thing of a possible issue that this could have been caused by. are trying to install it on a blank WP install? or do you have any other plugins or a comprehensive theme installed there also?
you are more than welcome to send me temporary access detail to your wp-admin to : info[at]wp-obs.com and i can take a closer look.
and also you can simply go to the website and download the FREE Trial for 14 days (doesn’t cost you anything and no payment details are needed), that way you will also get to test the Mailchimp and PayPal add-ons that are enabled there.

In reply to: Reservation SystemI would recommend checking out the new WP-OBS. Its more of an Appointment Booking System, but can be adopted if needed. It comes in its free version (limited functionaleties) and the Pro. We are always happy to assist anyone with any modifications they require. From the feedback we are getting it seems that the WP-OBS if by far one of the most comprehensive plugins that currently is out there as a stand alone booking plugin.

The trial version is a fully working version, but the free license will expire after 7 days. After which you will need to purchase a package to continue using the WP-OBS PRO.

Thanks for the comment. We will check this out and update the plugin once solved.Just checked it out and it worked fine from my end. Do you get this issue with a specific template or with all of them?
Make sure you are not copy/pasting from a word document that might paste some formatting to the page. it needs to be simple text throughout.

You can download a Trial version of the full version of the Online Booking System (WP-OBS) here: wp-online-booking-system.comAs to your question regarding Language, it is set directly via the DB. There are no po or mo files for translation.
