You are right GUID is not so easy to guess, but you will have a lot of stuff, some of them might get ex-stuff sometimes, which is unfortunatly normal in this business, so a password-protection really makes sense.
An answer would be great, I really like your plugin and I really would buy the Pro Version if I get an answer.
