I have fixed this. It just takes 48 hours to sync. Very sad to have to wait that long for the sync to work, although it is now working. I believe there is a need for a better UI for this going forward.
I have screenshots. How do I upload screenshots here?
I just figured this out. The JW Player 6 Plugin for WordPress and Jetpack are conflicting. The site is now back up as I have deactivated the JW plugin.
Dwinden,
It just so happens that I was having another issue with this plugin. I noticed that I was getting blank screens when browsing the website. I checked the support forum and found others that were having the issue and then noticed that by turning off the back-up function solved the problem. I then noticed that after I turned off the site back-up, it also solved this problem as well. Now everything is working just fine. It appears that there are some issues with the site back-up code.
I was having the same problem. I turned off the backups and now everything is working fine. I do have high levels of resources and checked with my host GoDaddy. They did not see me running out of resources or even getting close to running out.
Dwinden,
Yes, I have deactivated the iTSec plugin and this issue goes away. I am assuming that there may be a setting that controls this within the plugin.
As to access to my PC… it is secure with a password or bio-metric to get in. I am not concerned about that.
What if any setting in the iTSec plugin controls this feature. I may also have a conflict with another plugin, although I am able to duplicate this by turning off and on the plugin.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Publicize – error 32300I had the same problem. I figured it out for our site. We use the plugin iThemes Security. We had the setting XMLRPC completely disabled by our webserver. I turned this off and everything worked just fine.
I took a look at the code for BP version 2.2.1. I believe that I have found the problem. The activation key that is sent from version 2.2.1 creates a link with “http://rotarymeansbusiness.com/members/activate/9911a002b4e09ad237e2135ad1cae4ae. The activation key with version 2.1.1 creates a link with http://rotarymeansbusiness.com/members/activate/?key=9911a002b4e09ad237e2135ad1cae4ae. As you can easily see, there is the missing function within the link that inputs the activation text into the activation form found on the activate page. Without the fuction code, the link directs someone to a page on the site that does not exist.
I checked the activation page without the activation key and the page came up without a problem. I then manually entered the activation key text into the form and the new user (me) was added without a problem. Take a look at the BuddyPress code. It appears that the activation key is not being inserted in the proper place. This happened one time before with the BuddyPress code and this was fixed by the BP team. It appears that the invalid code may have shown back up.
Thanks for the advice Roger. I deactivated all my plugins and then reverted to the Twenty Fifteen theme. Still that same issue. I would revert back to an older version of BuddyPress, although our website is live and has had a great deal of activity that would be lost as we would also have to go back to an older version of our database. At this moment I am stuck to wait on BuddyPress to figure out the problems with the new code and fix things. I did see that there were bigs in the last two versions of BuddyPress and I did not update to those versions. I did update to this version as it appeared that the bugs were fixed. I guess that the other fixes created this new one which is a critical issue.
I am also getting a bunch of errors. It appears that the latest update really hosed a bunch of stuff and the techs at WooCommerce are not saying much.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product Gallery Not Working After UpdateIt appears that this place for posting problems with the WooCommerce plugin may not be working with the people that can fix things. The only people that are commenting are people that are having problems.
