I’ve changed every setting for the links and cannot get the “read more” to link to the source. Any tips? Thanks

The “read more” is still linking to the except page on my site, is this a setting or does it only work when you remove the link from the featured image completely.
I’m looking to do the same thing, were you able to figure out the edit or what to replace “the_permalink” with?
