Hi,
Thank you.
I have checked with the host and it has nothing to do with the server.
They didn’t block XML RPC.
But I’ve always had the other plugins installed with no issues at all. is it because of the update to 8.3? Because that’s when the issue occurred.Even after deleting it completely, the images are not showing. I have re-installed and it’s still the same.
It’s a shame this is happening because I have a lot to do on the website and I’ve already lost 2 weeks.
Maybe uploading a previous backup file could do the magic?Hi,
This is the website link, I have changed over no PHP 7.2 because PHP 7.3 caused an issue in some pages.
I’m only using jetpack because of the stats, and I will gladly delete it when this issue is resolved.
unfortunately, when I disabled it, my photos disappeared.Currently, I can’t do any new post or attach any new image; I have been trying this for 2 weeks now, so any speedy help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks 🙂Hi,
I’ve updated to PHP 7.3, the highest I can update to and I’m still getting :
Error updating settings. FetchNetworkError
Thanks
I have the same issue and its saying this as well:
You appear to be offline
I deactivated it and reactivated it still no show.
Thanks.Ok, cool. I’ve done that and I can now login via WordPress login page.
Thanks for the swift response 🙂Thanks for your response.
As I didn’t know what to delete or where to find the root htaccess in cpanel, I just deleted the file htaccess folder itself. Doing this allowed me to log in via WordPress, where I was able to delete the codes in bruce force login and browser access in the custom code of the root htaccess.I presume they are no longer necessary because they’re now gone?
Now I can log in and out and I hope I don’t have to have the deleted files in the root htaccess?

In reply to: Code at bottom of website@stuffradio, I was referring to your comments on this:
I see this text at the bottom of the page.
} } } } }
You have some funny things going on on your site, such as some tags trying to close other tags that are not open. Did you make changes yourself? Here’s what it looks like
And I responded as before that I only followed what I saw on the website backend to ad more codes.
In a nutshell, yes, I did add some of the codes myself following what was previously added.
I hope I made myself clear enough.

In reply to: Code at bottom of websiteThanks for your responses. It wasn’t whattowearpost it was another site of mine, lachrystol. However, after going to the site today, I can’t see any code. This is weird though.
@stuffradio, I noticed } in question. I followed what was added to the side initially to add other codes. I also noticed that when I took out the whole codes, the } disappeared. I’m not sure if it will do any harm to the site, hence, I have left it like so.
I guess the } gives me the difference or the start/end between one code and the other. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known how to differentiate between all of them.
How to handle this will be highly appreciated. Thanks 🙂
Hi,
This has now been resolved.
I renamed the plugins (via cpanel/file manager). Then logon to site via wp admin (before enabling plugins again) to change the IP address on .htaccess on bps.
Since my new ip is now registered, I have no further problem logging in to any of the sites.Bluehost support had no clue it was bps causing the issue, because they disabled w3 cache instead and that didn’t resolve it.
Thanks for your advice.
Sorry for the silence, I’m now, as of this minute, working with the host to resolve it.
Will let you know if it’s fully resolved.Bluehost seems to be carrying out some maintenance, so unable to contact or access the site.
Will do something tomorrow.
Thanks.Ok, thanks.
I deleted these 2 files:1. /websiteA.com/.htaccess
2. /websiteA.com/wp-admin/.htaccessThe login error I’m getting now is:
404 Error File Not Found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
I should’ve renamed them rather than delete them.
I think I will have to contact bluehost support to see what’s happening.I found /public_html/.htaccess by searching for .htaccess but the folder is more or less empty. The only input there is google analytics.
I have deleted the /websiteA.com/wp-admin/.htaccess, but still having the same error msg.Thank you for your response.
I have a couple of issues:1. I have many websites hosted with the the host provider. Do I delete the .htaccess on the root as in: /public_html/.htaccess and on individual wp-admin website?
2. I’m new to the bluehost because I’ve just transferred to them. I can’t see the .htaccess and there is no option to select “Show Hidden Files”. Clicking on file manager takes you straight to the files.Does anyone know how to “Show Hidden Files” in file manager (bluehost) before I raise a ticket with them pls?
Thank you 🙂Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Feeds not updatingObviously this is your plugin, the features on the importer are only available on the aggregator premium version.
Was the update a deliberate attempt to lure people to buy the premium version?
I can’t think otherwise. So if I delete the importer, the other choice is the aggregator. Right?
