I really don’t know how could I copy-pasted the .htaccess but missed that. Solved my 2 hours problem in less than 5 minutes.
Thanks a lot, Maciej! Great plugin.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Is there a special mail tag for a parent post?@takayukister Thanks for the response.
If we separate the form from the post, would the form know that it actually belongs to that post? And how to do that?

In reply to: [Background Slider Master] Fatal error when activating pluginOh no wonder. My local installation hasn’t been updated yet. Anyway, it helps, thanks a lot!
Whoops. Didn’t cross my mind to check that. It’s weird because it always showed there automatically previously. Thanks Michael.
Thanks for your helpful responses, Michael.
Okay. After some readings, I think I’m starting to understand how this works. Thanks for the patient explanation, Michael.
One more question, there is an option to change the custom taxonomy slug to something else in CPT UI. Would it be a trouble if I set the slug as the same name with my custom post type?
Example, my post type name is
movie. The custom post type archive page or slug ismovie. Then I set the taxonomy
genre‘s slug tomovietoo, in hope of making the permalink to be something like http://domain.com/movie/horror/ instead of http://domain.com/genre/horror.Would that cause trouble?
Whoa fantastic, so it’s already encoded. Thanks Evan.
Okay so to clarify, mind if I ask what does the
"Custom Rewrite Slug"do in the CPT UI > Add/Edit Post Type?I thought that has something to do with assembling the permalink?
Doesn’t that does exactly what this user > https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/108642/permalinks-custom-post-type-custom-taxonomy-post < attempts to do?
Well, in the WordPress core you can go to Settings > Permalinks and use this in the Custom Structure option:
/%category%/%postname%/So it will output (for example):
http://domain.com/category-name/post-name/
Can’t we have something like that with this plugin? I just want to add the taxonomy name, something like this: http://domain.com/publication/books/book-name/
Has this issue been fixed?
*correction: should be Yoast Analytics not Yoast SEO.
Well, okay then. I hope the MonsterInsight plugin would still work with the current Top Post plugin. Thanks Chris. 🙂
Whoops sorry, stupidly I mistook Yoast SEO with Yoast Analytics. I hope this plugin is still going to work after the MonsterInsight update.
Hi Chris, thanks for the response.
Do you have any plans in the 6.0 update to include additional widget, Top Posts from Google Analytics? So it would take the most popular page in the last week/month/etc. I used to have plugin to do this by using Yoast SEO, but since it’s going to be reworked I’m afraid that plugin will stop working.
Since Yoast SEO is now Monster Insight SEO and they’re going to rework the plugin from the ground up, is there any plan from the dev to update the plugin?
