Hi Michael,
No unfortunately there isn’t a way to dismiss the notifications.
Yikes you guys I just realized I wrote “Wordpess Payments” instead of WooCommerce Payments. I see that you guys tested with the former and not the latter. My mistake!
Could you please test on your side again but with Yoast Seo, WooCommerce Payments & Grow Social by Mediavine enabled to see if it happens in a non Showit environment?
Understood! I will contact Showit again and let them know what you guys said in case there is anything else that they can do.
One question though. If the error only happens when Yoast is enabled, wouldn’t that mean that the issue is stemming from the Yoast plugin? Or do you think something is failing with the server/PHP/etc settings or something like that?
Is there a way that I can share my error logs with you or get you to look at my specific setup? Showit pointed me in the direction of the plugin developers saying that the problem isn’t on their end so I’m pretty much stuck here on both sides.
Hi Michael,
Thanks so much for getting back with me! To clarify & add additional info, before I upgraded to 5.9 I was receiving no errors from any of the plugins.
As soon as I upgraded, I received these 4 errors shown here:
https://snipboard.io/XycAxo.jpgIt happened on both of my websites which are both on Showit.
In a panic, I contacted the Showit team and asked them to revert me back to the previous WordPress version and the error notifications went away.
I then decided to upgrade to 5.9 again on just one of my websites because Showit’s tech team had gotten back with me and said that the problem wasn’t on their end but had to be an issue with the plugins themselves.
Also I couldn’t find anyone complaining of this specific problem on any forum.
So back on 5.9, I decided to disable all the plugins and start enabling them one by one. Turns out something in the Yoast plugin is causing this to happen. When I disable Yoast and leave all other plugins active, the errors go away.
+1 for this exact same error.
Hi Michael,
Wow, I knew it was gonna be that simple smh/lol… It’s working perfectly now! Thanks alot & I left you a nice theme rating ;P

In reply to: [Plugin: Facebook Like Button Plugin] not XHTML 1.0 StrictI have 1.3.1 and it still turns up 1 error for me(which is better than the 34 errors on the other fb like plugin i was using) but still I’d rather there be none. The error that comes up during validation says:
Error Line 83, Column 289: there is no attribute "allowTransparency"Is there another fix aside from going into the facebook-like-button-plugin.php and erasing
allowTransparency="true"on Line 59? Thats what I’ve done for now and it validates.Forum: Plugins
