I imported the products from posts and they came with their categories. Then I deleted the categories. However the products remained in the deleted categories. I suppose I need to delete the products as well.
You can see it here: https://megatron.bg/msite/bobcat/%D0%9F%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B4%D1%83%D0%BA%D1%82%D0%B8/
The first 7 categories are those I left undeleted and the others are the deleted ones that still appear in the sidebar.
Thank you, Unfiltered MU solved the problem right away. Maybe you could incorporate it into your plugin to save its users all the trouble.
Sure, I understand that, so I gave that user the right you mention. Nevertheless, though he can restore the broken block right after hitting Save the block gets pale and brakes again.
You can access a test site with the problem here: https://megatron.bg/msite/test/wp-admin/
Superadmin credentials: xseon with pass 12-QWE-34
The other user: despet with pass des5rov
Go edit page ‘Начало’ when logged in as despet: https://megatron.bg/msite/test/wp-admin/post.php?post=2066&action=edit and just save the page. Then you’ll see the block brakes (fron-end: https://megatron.bg/msite/test/).
You can check the users capability and see the Unfiltered HTML box is checked for the groups despet is in.
Am I missing something?I encounter the same issue with the administrator user role on multisite. Only the superadmin can work properly with the gallery and slider blocks.
Trying to manage the role of the user I found the administrator role had the capability “Unfiltered HTML” unchecked, i.e. it was off. I activated it but that didn’t help. After I save a post/page that has a gallery I get the gallery in the front-end as static images preceded by some HTML code like the one below:

In reply to: [qTranslate X] Hide specific menu item for 1 languageHow is this useful in showing the item in only one language?
As I reported, my problem is that you can’t create a category in only one language, so you can’t show it in the menu for one language and hide it for another.

In reply to: [qTranslate X] Hide specific menu item for 1 languageHi,
I have the same issue trying to show my blog category only in one language. I set qTranslate to hide content that is not available in the viewed language. Then I tried to remove the translation of my blog category name but it never accepts an empty name and always adds the name in the existing language so it always has a translation (bug?).
Then I tried to just rename the item in the menu removing the second language syntax leaving it only in one language like this: [:en]Blog.
Yet my menu shows the category when I view the site in the other language adding in front of its name the language that it is available in: (English) Blog.
Finally I added again the second language translation but replaced it with so now the item is only visible if you hover over it in the menu, but it doesn’t seems to me a good practice.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [qTranslate X] Language Switcher Widget does not switch languagesDo you have any English content, i.e. translated post or page? I’m not sure if I noticed that with q-translate or with some other language extension as I tried many, but on some point it was like that: if I don’t have any translated content the switch is inactive, and as soon as I translate a post or a page, it becomes active.
I noticed, after numerous tests, that if I put names for the attachement fields the links for the attached files in my database tables are gone.
The template files are simply not included in the plugin’s distribution.
Let’s say my client doesn’t need Posts. For example, the types he needs are Products (with categories and tags), News (with their own categories) and Utilities (tags only).
But another issue here is that the categories and tags are common to all post types. When you create or edit a post in a particular post type, e.g. News, you’ll see also the categories for Products.

In reply to: Incorporating “category__in” into category.phpThe whole magic is actually here:
if ( in_category($category_id) ) :. Thank you man! I lost almost a day in searching for a solution and you saved my day!I don’t know why but query_posts(‘category__in=’ . $category_id); actually doesn’t work. So the workaround is putting the above if statment before the Loop.
Great for sharing it!
