I have a similar issue. I’d love to be able to restore and pull together my blog stats from my wordpress.com to now ww.wp.xz.cn blog. Same domain, same posts. Please help, Jet Pack developers. I miss having my page view count on my site and my numbers! I worked hard for those. 😉
I don’t feel like we should be penalizes for migrating from WP.com to WP.org and self-hosting. I really hope something can be done.
