  • Can Ad Inserter wrong configuration impact revenue?
    – Adsense revenue is really getting poor! Whenever i optimize, it increases and now I do not know what to do.

    Any advise?

    Sorry about the late response, if i don’t logon to this email, i don’t get notifications.

    These Adsense messages are getting weird to me.
    – it could be these errors are Adsense specific errors and you cannot do anything about it.

    Just ignore the errors for a while and see what happens. Adsense is very slow in updating issues (queries) like this.

    Please try to compare all settings (configs) on all sites and please pay attention to typos. This can be very negligible.

    Ensure your URL parameter is the same as shown above and you have the site added to your Quantcast choice. Wish I can help further.

    @ibiza69, Thank you for your response! I will get back to Moneytizer and then have that unchecked.

    I updated Ad Inserter to Version 2.6.17 yesterday again and I haven’t gotten any errors.
    – If your account is added to Quantcast Choice correctly, you should not be having this issue. You can also send a quick email to Quantcast Choice to see if they can help. They usually respond after 2-3 days.
    – Ensure your URL parameter is correct, copy and paste this again from a site that is working correctly and watch this decrease.

    @ibiza69, This might not be possible because ***Moneytizer uses these settings as well. Since I have these (CCPA) setting already enabled via Quantcast Choice, Do I really need to worry about the message from Adsense?

    Thank you! I do not from USA, I am based in Europe so this is pretty fine.

    I have the regulations “GDPR” and “CCPA” checked (enabled).

    – But under CCPA (Do i have to select Target entire US?”

    Under the consent scope, i selected only users in the EEEA or UK. Do I have to fix anything here?

    I got a message on my dashboard today from Adsense. Here is the message below

    Set up a CCPA privacy message for your site
    To help you comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we’ve integrated a CCPA privacy messaging tool into AdSense. You can use this messaging tool to display a CCPA privacy message on your site that gives users the right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information. The messaging tool uses Google’s Funding Choices

    How it works
    The first time that you turn on the CCPA privacy message in AdSense, we’ll automatically create a Funding Choices account for you. This lets you use the AdSense code that’s already on your site to show your message. You don’t need to add any extra code.

    The privacy message that you create in AdSense gives users the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information by showing them a ‘Do Not Sell My Personal Information’ link. After the user makes their choice, the privacy message automatically communicates their opt-out status to Google ad tags using the IAB CCPA framework. Learn more about how California opt-out messages work in Funding Choices.

    Note:
    Your privacy message will override the global CCPA setting on your California Consumer Privacy Act page. For example, if you’ve already selected the ‘Restrict data processing’ setting, then your site will show personalised ads if the user agrees to the sale of their personal information.
    If you choose to turn on the privacy message and override your ‘Restrict data processing’ setting, then you won’t be able to customise the list of advertising partners. The sites for which you’ve set up the override will always use the default list of advertising partners.

    Do not worry so much about this! The error count will gradually diminish if the Ad Inserter is correctly configured. Usually, after an upgrade, nothing changes and you should not get an error.

    – I have updated like twice and also performed an update and everything works.

    I would recommend, reach out to the plugin author for suggestions. They can easily detect and let you know what the issue is.

    Note: If you notice a reduction in the error count, then you don’t have so much issue except it is the other way around πŸ™‚ Observe this.

    AFAIK, you only need the Quantum Choice pasted in the header of your site.

    I am here again πŸ™‚ This time, how did you integrate themoneytizer into your own Quantcast Choice?

    Currently, I do not know how to go about this. I have reached out to themoneytizer and they are monitoring it as well.

    Note: I am using the Quantcast plugin.
    – I still have the Quantcast code from the moneytizer in my header. Just curious as the IDs are different.

    I read one could force this Tag to reflect in Adsense but the user never provided any code here.

    @ibiza69 I read you also use theMoneytizer and these guys have their own Universal tag. This is usually sent to you by default.

    Now I have two consent and it does not make sense. I think the only option i have here is to reach out to theMoneytizer and request they use the new universal ID, i recently created for the sake of adsense.

    Is this the recommended way to go about it?

    Dear All,

    I have implemented the IAB TC string using Quantcast Choice (Copied my universal tag and enable the TCBv2).

    Ad Inserter has confirmed everything is fine and configured correctly.

    I also got an email from Quantcast Choice that I have implemented the tag correctly.

    On the Quantcast Choice dashboard, I can see the stats of those that have accepted and bounce rate.
    – The green button is on “on Quantcast Choice” with 85.6%

    But funny enough, it been three days, the errors 1.1 and 2.1a are still being displayed by AdSense.

    Does this take time to reflect?

    Kindly advise!
