It’s believed that content marked as NewsArticle performs better on mobile SERPs as it has more chances to appear in the Google’s Top Stories module.

Please note that as NewsArticle is an specific type of Article, it’s not inappropriate to show it that way.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve read this but can’t find how to do what I want. I mean, I don’t want to set up different markup for different sections but this:

mywebsite.com/examplepage > Article
mywebsite.com/examplepage/amp > NewsArticle

Could you please show me how to do this, if possible?
