In reply to: [File Away] Documentation for PluginOK lets get something very very clear.
Your Plugin CANNOT insert shortcodes from the fileaway button in the tinymice editor as previously discussed in another users thread. Also the buttons collapse and you have to do various clicking to make thewm show up!
It is outdated, fundamentally floored with the documentation you have provided.
You are not catering for the average user, some users here are novices. However i am new to wordpress NOT to coding. I usually code in C# something you are not probably familiar with Mr Stark!
Most plugins have a very clear documentation unlike this one. It hasnt been updated for over 2 years which is why users are having trouble with your shortcode generator.
Funndmentals in creating a plugin, is to be clear and to be updated. WordPress has a huge following, so to save yourself embarassment Mr Stark i suggest you either develop a new plugin with Proper Documentation or remove it. It works sort of 60% but is not comapatible with later wordpress versions as a whole. If you use Ajax, it needs to be compatible with most browsers not just the odd 1 or two.
Also it helps to Beta Test.
Hope that clarifies your answers Mr Stark.
So before you start attacking users you need to reflect on your goodself.

In reply to: [File Away] Documentation for PluginOk.
That worked. There was no example documentation showing us this, this was why i was asking the question.
Say there was a PDF or something in your docs i would of seen this.
Thanks

In reply to: [File Away] Documentation for PluginTHis is for Thom Stark
This was what i was working on before i corrected with other plugin.
So why was this not working then?
Your point about coders, yes im a coder but others arent. Just verifying.

In reply to: [File Away] Documentation for PluginOk Andrew i get your point.
If the guy had been at least reasonable or helpful this wouldnt of gone this far!
We are all coders, and look for some useful plugins. Ive got round this issue using a far much simpler solution but it would of been nice to have had a heads up instead of being bluntly reposnded too. I would not have had a personal attack if i was not provoked.
Lets hope we can all learn from this.
Thank you.

Yeh i Nailed it!
BTW get a proper coder as youre not doing so good yourself!
Crap would be an understatement!
Ive cured the problem by the way and not by using youre plugin! Just some simple code i wrote!

In reply to: [File Away] Documentation for PluginThom
You are taking this personally!
I have already acknowledged that we are grateful for you creating the plugin…..
BUT it needsd updating and your documentation is not very clear!
I have been wasting time trying to display a folder i created through FTP and putting your codes like baseline with manage on and its not displaying it.
That is an example!
We wouldnt mind paying for a plugin that worked properly! we are not all looking for free plugins, just those that work properly and are fully supported.
Just update it, its far more practical to do so! Others have been asking this for a while so i can see!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to to remove “choose an option”It would be good if Woocommerce reshaped the entire system to make it a lot easier for customisations….
Woocommerce is a fantastic e-commerce solution but it really bugs me
What would be good if there was a whitelabel file where certain values could be changed, similar to a language file.
Interspire (Big Commerce) has a language file called whitelabel, i was able to do just about anything in that system without real coding knowledge….
I really hope that Automatic can streamline this beautiful system to make it easy for users to customise it without really knowing code.
It really is a bug bear……….
LISTEN TO YOUR USERS WOOCOMMERCE π
