I’m not sure I understand “…when you switch to a Right-to-Left (RTL) language such as Hebrew or Arabic” – the only language setting I’m aware of is the “Site Language” option in the “General Settings” page of the WP backend, and it is set for Hebrew. Is there any other language related setting option in WP or NextGen?
Also note that I have attempted to insert the HTML code: “<P dir=RTL>” before the ngg code: “[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”95″ sortorder=”1419,1423,1418,1424,1425,1422,1420,1421″ display=”basic_thumbnail” thumbnail_width=”275″ thumbnail_height=”375″ images_per_page=”0″ number_of_columns=”3″ order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC”]”
but it still doesn’t work. Not sure what I’m missing or doing wrong.

Please don’t let us linger with this uncertainty, we have to manage real projects which rely on this malfunctioning feature, and we need to understand your intentions!
My problem with metadata screens was resolved by removing one of my Chrome Extensions, (which I think was something to do with malware protection, but I can’t recall the exact name…).
Anyhow, it was a configuration issue on my Chrome browser.
Try disabling all your extensions…

NextGen plugin for example, is a very popular & stable plugin that installs into wp-content/plugins folder, but also creates an image library under wp-content/gallery folder. This is its default behaviour. You should really be looking at all subdirectories under wp-content folder.
In any case, these limitations should be explicitly explained before sending users on a “goose chase” :-)… save the user time and disappointment, save you the support effort.
Otherwise, I’m very happy with SG as my new host 🙂

In this case, we might need to use the “Simple Lightbox” instead of “Shutter Reloaded”.
Would you be able to provide all the CSS customisation options for “Simple Lightbox” – we would like to change things like font size and colour, and the placement of the Description text box to be under the image, not overlapping it.
I have produced the two text files of Site Health data for the Live and Beta sites. It looks to me there’s no substantial difference that might indicate whats going on… I wanted to share with you, but can’t see an option to “Attach” files here…
Regarding your suggestion to remove and re-insert the gallery display – I can’t see how this is relevant to my problem. Regardless of the Posts and Pages where this gallery is inserted, the issue is with the back-end management of the thumbnail size, regardless of where this gallery is published. Or am I missing anything?
Please let me know what you think, before I take the drastic option of deleting NextGen and then re-installing the plug-in (which will be a major disruption for our site…).
