In reply to: WordPress site not indexed after migrationThanks for the tip! I’ve checked the Reading settings and confirmed that “Discourage search engines from indexing” is unchecked. I’ve also resubmitted the sitemap, and it seems okay for the moment. I’ll proceed to verify the site in Google Search Console, possibly using a DNS entry as suggested. Appreciate your help

In reply to: [Sydney] Problems with mobile layout 2Sorry, just one more thing! I’ve noticed that the font size of the titles and the padding between the subtitle and the button in the Hero Area have also changed on desktop. While the new sizes look great on mobile, they appear too small on desktop. Would it be possible to keep the original sizes for desktop and apply the new, smaller ones only on mobile?
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Sydney] images on the homepage and the logo aren’t showingThanks, Kharis. It took some time to get the SSL activated, but now it’s up and running. That could indeed be the major problem. However, there are still some icons that aren’t showing properly. Also, sometimes when I load my website, the pages appear messed up. On other occasions, they seem fine except for the small icons, which often don’t display properly. How can I resolve any remaining mixed SSL content issues with these plugins? Do you recommend any specific plugins for this?
I suspect another issue could be that I created my site about five years ago and used a Child Theme (version 1.x series) at the time, that I prepared by adding codes to original themes. I was hesitant to update it because I feared it might break the site. However, the parent theme was updated when I recently uploaded my website again, and now the Sydney parent theme is at version 2.51. I’ve also noticed issues with Elementor. I had to revert to version 3.26.5 because it didn’t work at all. I still doesn’t function well. My WordPress version is 6.7.2. I’m concerned that some versions of these plugins, themes, and WordPress may not be compatible with each other. I turned off the other plugins for the time being. Should I revert to an older version of the Sydney parent theme? What versions of Elementor and WordPress should be compatible with this Sydney Child theme?
Another thing I noticed is that even when I made some edits, there was no Save or Publish button to save my page.
My happiness was short-lived. After the initial success, even in this version, after the content loads, I still see the loading sign and can’t interact.
Thanks for your help. Reverting to Version 3.26.5 helped, and now I can work in Elementor. There were a few smaller hiccups, but I hope it will work. Can I ask how much this version differs from the latest one?

In reply to: Critical Error After Uploading backup websiteThanks, I will look into these things. For the time being I deactivated the suspicious plugins and themes to be able to log in.
Thanks for your help, Kasia.
I’ve just sent you the link in email.
Season’s GreetingsThanks, Patrick. Can I email you the link and give you the list of the the plugins I use? Let me know if it works and I will disable the plugin.
I couldn’t fix it so I switched to Cookie Consent plugin, instead.
Thank you.
