We have run this plugin on multiple sites using the same stack on the same server before, in combination with the same plugins.

It resolved today finally – but took nearly two minutes to resolve seconds to load

I then disabled all the plugin except ACF, no change. Everything else is up-to-date.

This is the responsible culprit in the network tab ?kt-woomail-preview=1&customize_changeset_uuid
Loading that page in a standalone tab, I see the preview (perhaps cached) but the network tab is pending here. Something seems to have changed since the latest update, I think

No, this issue is not resolved. The previewer hangs. There are no console errors because the page fails to resolve when loading the customizer, ending in a 524 timeout

It’s actually taken our whole staging site down with a stuck PHP process. I can’t tell you what they were, but I restarted phpfpm, which brought the site back up – which is usually a sign of PHP processes not finishing

Yeah – just o be clear, I don’t really have much of an opinion on it either way, I just thought the reasoning was a bit off.

It is true though, one hacked site potentially exposes the key to all of them, no? I kind of consider Cloudflare to be a security company, so best practice not being adhered to is surprising… but I’m certainly not annoyed or anything, just getting involved!!

Are you up for hacking the plugin code on all 40 sites? 🙂 What happens when they are updated?

Surely a better option is to improve the flagging of what the feature does, as opposed to just removing it because some people can;t be bothered to read.

Isn’t that a bit like saying if you leave your debit card pin number written on a piece of paper in your wallet locked in a car, then the security of the car is the only issue?

I would argue that in the instance that the car was broken into it would definitely be your own fault if you left your pin number written down with your bank card.

Agreed – dev mode and htps protocol rewriting are the most common reason I have to access cloudflare – and the only reason I ever use the plugin.

Thanks for the reply. I would argue that people delivering from the original images are building their themes incorrectly, and supporting them should not be a priority! 🙂

I’ve checked the sucuri – it all comes up clean. The site also runs through cloudflare – that doesn’t seem to help?

Do you think its some kind of malware? Its relentless!
