    And now I am sure I DO login, because on top of the page my user appears as well as the dashboard link, but it sends to file not found. So, it is not the psw.

    I couldn’t get both: clean install + keep my old posts.
    Either I have a clean install but lose it all, or restore my contents, but again can’t login:
    Now it says “Error 404

    I did a rewind of the hosting from months ago… I can’t go any further in the past…

    I think it is the stupid support of the a2 hosting!
    I just got this msg:

    wp-login.php gets:
    403 Forbidden
    Request forbidden by administrative rules.

    I couldn’t get into wp-admin or wp-login after hosting restoration, not once.

    I don’t think the problem is the password… I don’t even get the message that would say the psw is wrong. Just the login page gets reloaded.

    I changed the psw usign phpmyadmin.
    Still I get nowhere when inserting user and psw.
    The same login page appears.
