Hi Iain, I can also confirm that the problem still persists. In fact, this issue has consistently persisted since Oct 23 – Nov 6, 2016 (likely coinciding with an Instagram API change). Thanks for any help on this issue!
It seems like all of the requests to fix this bug are falling on deaf ears. It’s strange b/c the author was active here a month ago. I guess he wants us to buy the upgrade? I’m not sure how to interpret this.
When I get some free time from work, I’ll dig into the code. But that will be probably be this summer earliest unfortunately.

Hi – no, I have not made any progress on this. Very frustrating – as I also post most of my shots in non-square formats. Not sure what to do to fix this.
