thank you very much for your prompt reply.
We have tried the mu-plugins and we were not able to store the files in a folder outside the wp-content path. We need the folder to be outside the public_html folder, on a higher level and private folder for security reasons.
Is there any other solution you may suggest in order to resolve this specific request?
