It would be great to have full Astra support in SimplyStatic. It’s the most popular theme and is often used with Elementor and Gutenberg/Spectra blocks. Currently, the speed drops by 50% once you convert a SiteGround-hosted website to static and host it on BunnyCDN, which negates the benefits of static websites.

Yes, this is due to the way Astra structures its CSS, JavaScript, and dependencies. It works extremely fast on WordPress but drops performance significantly after the static conversion. This does not happen with Spectra Pro and Blocksy themes, which perform slightly faster on BunnyCDN than their original WordPress instances. This stems from their modular asset loading and lightweight framework.

Thank you! I have sent you the HTML Import and screen capture video uploaded to OneDrive by email. Yeah, understand the idea behind the integrity of the reviews.

Thank you for your reply and support. However, the new version seems to have fixed the issue not immediately after the update. I had to disable the plugin, enable it again, and then reset and retrieve all data. In the log, I noticed a Google API error indicating that my API required confirmation of the Google billing terms. After confirming and refreshing, the hidden settings were enabled. It is uncertain if the issue was due to the plugin or my Google API billing, as I only checked the log under the Retrieved Data tab after the reset. It would be beneficial if the plugin highlighted this error message from the log and highlighted it in the plugin Dashboard, as it currently only checks if the API is valid, not if Google allows data extraction due to billing terms. Everything is now working correctly. Thank you for your tremendous contribution to the WordPress community.

It would be great if you could add an option to edit the reviews. The problem is that when you do an advanced import (not all the reviews are imported automatically for some reason), and there are multiple languages, it imports the wrong language even if you manually select the right one. It also imports the note “Translated to English”. This is how Google Review is designed and cannot be changed. Many people complain about this auto-translate “feature”. I had to manually copy the HTML code into my editor, make the changes to remove the translation, and then paste it into your plugin to process the import. Adding an edit option for each comment near the hide “eye” button would be great.

Thank you for a quick response. The good thing is that it didn’t break my production website and shows all the reviews as expected. It’s just the admin part which is missing. Hope it’s going to be fixed with the new update. In general, great plugin! Thanks for your effort and support.

I only have one user – Administrator. The role hasn’t changed. Interestingly, when I install this plugin on the other website, it shows all the available settings. The issue only occurs on the existing production website where this plugin was recently auto-updated.
