In reply to: [Search Everything] Test search works but regular search doesn’tNever really figured it out, but when I tried it from a different computer and a different browser other than Chrome, the search function worked correctly.

In reply to: Search widget searches Google, not websiteOK here’s something interesting: I installed the Search Everything plugin. Within that plugin’s config settings, it allows you to do a “Test Search” of your website. When I test-searched there, it worked perfectly–it brought up the page of my website that contained the string I searched for.
So the test search within plugin config works perfectly, but the actual search widget on the site doesn’t. Hmmmmm…

In reply to: Search widget searches Google, not websiteAlready done. There are no plugins and I am using Twenty Twelve themes. It’s starting to look like the search function just does not work in Sandstorm.
Edit: Just tried a plugin for the first time to see if that would help. Installed Relevanssi which is an alternative to the default WP search. No dice. Will try other search plugins.

In reply to: Search widget searches Google, not websiteIt’s as if the ?s= isn’t even there, it just shows the website like normal.

In reply to: Search widget searches Google, not websiteI have never installed custom anything, so it shouldn’t be custom unless Sandstorm pre-loaded a custom search widget. The back-end looks like this, it seems to be the default WP search widget listed with all the other defaults.
I’m sorry but I don’t quite follow your second part there. I replaced “some_search_term_here” with a variety of terms but not quite sure what it’s supposed to do or if there’s somewhere I should put the resulting URL.
