Thanks! In the meantime I did an ultimate no-no and hacked the plugin for my own purposes.
In /carousel-upsells-and-related-product-for-woocommerce/includes/up-sells.php,
I changed line 38/39 to this:
//type: ‘carousel’,
type: ‘slider’,It’s not perfect (due to spacing issues at the end), but it does prevent the infinite loop.

After chatting with the plugin developer, we’ve concluded that the issue is related to another plugin I also have installed – Woo Discount Rules. You can’t use both of these plugins together at this time (buy may be able to do so in the future?).
I just started a thread with your ChatBot.
Done – upon sumitting the form it said “Thank you for your message. We’ll be in touch shortly.”
