    Then the only way to achieve this is with a plugin? Between the theme and making the website multilingual, I have a fair amount of plugins working already, so I’m trying to not use more.

    Nevertheless, it’s interesting to know about the 30-day refund policy, it can be useful in the future.

    It does for sure! Thank you for your superfast answer, Otto.

    Because I wasn’t who started this website and the person decided (not sure why) to use their personal information to get the different plugins and themes and whatever need the website at first, I don’t know if I have a valid licence or where to get it. What I have is access to the FTP, where I can look the archives of the plugins.
    so
    I’m not like the best touching that type of archives, so before opening anything, is it there any possibility that I can find the number of the licence in them?

    Off-topic: May I ask what plugin you’re using for doing the translation? I’m looking for one because the one I was using is messing with my shop categories.

    I’ve found it!

    As I commented before, this website is pretty old and needed a heavy actualization when I started to work with it. It seems like the plugins that were used to make the website multilingual (WPML multilingual CMS, WPML string translation and WPML translation management), didn’t update themselves like the other plugins. Actually, they look as if they’re already updated. Not sure if it’s because right now they have another name or whatever, but yeah, here is the problem.

    I’ve deactivated them and the URLs finally look normal with its categories and all of that. Anyway, if I go to the debug log, it still shows some issues about one of the plugins that supposedly are deactivated. Now I just have to find a properly updated plugin to make the site multilingual.

    It looks like this has been resolved, but I will left this as unresolved until I’ve checked with the new plugin (and with the rest of plugins), if there’s no inconvenient with that.

    Hello!

    Funnily enough, I returned to that first suggestion, and I’m trying to read the documentation, but right now https://woocommerce.com/es-es/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts has an error 404, so I can’t see how I should do a conflict test.

    I’m gonna try to find any blog or video explaining how to do it. But because I’m not a developer (just a designer with pretty bad luck), any other suggestion or a tiny explanation for dummies about what should I do to run a conflict test, it’s more than welcome.

    If it is not fixed, can you please share a screenshot with me of the Permalinks page (under Settings > Permalinks)

    Not only it doesn’t change anything, when I choose an option and update it, it returns to the “customized permalink”. Not sure if this has anything to do with the issue I have on the shop, so I filmed another tiny video for it. There’s also this section (I’ve tried to look for an english translation, but I haven’t found one of this specific section, so it’s in spanish) that I’ve never touched. But the sentence I’ve highlighted maybe has something to do with my issue.

    Aaah, then I had understood well the use of that property at first. Then we don’t have any option to make the permalink customized, do we? My products have this URL by default (not talking about the categories here, we already know that my categories on the URL are a mess, just the import-placeholder):

    So, after uploading my CSV, I have to go one by one changing the slug. So my question was if I have any option to make that in a faster and easier way.

It’s a bit rusty, but I think you will be able to understand better the issue. Also, there are some products that still shows as importholder*number* on the URL even if I changed them all last week.

    CSV – This is the last version before I split it in three parts. Even if I did that, I still had to check one by one because some of them didn’t import some information like the height and width or the short description.

    Anyway, I have to edit the CSV again to add the property of product_url. About the product_url, I suppose I have to put the categories I wanna show on it, haven’t I? Like

    Hello again, happy to hear about you!

    In the end, I deleted all the products and re-start the import. I keep getting some errors, some a bit weird. Thank you so much for the import schema, because I didn’t know about some properties, and it’s well explained there. Now, the errors.

    1. I had to change manually all the URL/slug of the products. Thankfully they’re not a lot, but I’m worried about what to do in the future, with new products. The property “product_url” is to customize the slug? If so, I understand that should I write there following the pattern I’ve chosen on the web for the URLs?
    2. On the shop archive, some products don’t show their category. Right now, I’ve hidden all the categories on the archive, but the error doesn’t finish there. If you click on one of those products, the URL shows without categories. But if you go to “edit product”, the categories are selected, and they show on the slug.

    Update:

    I got PHP files updated, but I keep getting errors while uploading or updating products. Half the time, some of them don’t have all the information, whatever is just a lack of images or all the information as descriptions and attributes. Without counting the pre-made slug, that I have to change manually on every product even when they’re correctly uploaded.

    If I hadn’t enough with the problems with the products, the website is doing weird things with the grid of the products. I have it to be a five-column grid on the WooCommerce customize menu, but it keeps being a three-column. And I don’t know if it’s because of the demo template that I’m using, or else a problem with the website itself.

    Any kind of suggestions or tips are more than welcome.

    Hi again!

    I saw here that a solution for slow websites could be dividing the CSV on smaller lists, and it worked! I thought this will be my solution until I get the technician to update the PHP files, but half the products are processed as “no valid” or “duplicate or no valid SKU”, as you can see here. Sincerely, I think it’s a weird error because they’re products that are already active on the website, and I’m just trying to do an updating import (so obviously there are duplicate SKUs, they’re the same product…).

    I will keep trying to solve this, any comment or suggestion is more than welcome.

    Hi @rainfallnixfig,

    Maybe you’re right. I have and old PHP version and I already talked to my technician that is who works with our host service, but he didn’t or couldn’t update that yet. I will talk to him again about this, thank you so much.

    Not so sure about how to run a conflict test properly, but I’m reading the documentation you’ve sent to me and doesn’t look super difficult, so I will try it once I finish uploading products.

    Likewise, I will post again when I have news.
