I can see I am not the only one having this problem. Is there a solution yet? I have 2 sites, separate servers having the same problem.

In reply to: [Postie] Postie won’t post the emails from the email accountI found that you can’t use pop3 on GoDaddy. And you have to have the upgraded account in email to use IMAP. So I wasn’t able to do it. Although, I may have found a work around. Not sure until its fully tested. But GoDaddy sure doesn’t make this easy at all.

In reply to: [Postie] Postie won’t post the emails from the email accountok I have figured out that you were kind of right… GoDaddy’s workspace isn’t allowing an IMAP connection.
So I reset everything up with the pop3 connection (checking with outlook to make sure that I can log in and see everything in the email).
Now I get the error message:Connect to Mail Host
Postie connection: sockets
Postie protocol: pop3-ssl
Postie server: pop.secureserver.net
Postie port: 995
Unable to connect. The server said:
There was an error connecting to the server Connection refusedI can connect with outlook, same settings. I can connect via webmail and see the emails. Are there specific settings for GoDaddy that I am unaware of?

In reply to: [Postie] Postie won’t post the emails from the email accountI set the settings up in outlook to make sure that it was there, and the settings in webmail. is there a different way to set it up with godaddy mail server setting that needs to be different? the email is not the same domain as the website, would that matter? email is hardlinedesigns.com and website is fpp-law.com

In reply to: [Postie] Postie won’t post the emails from the email accountBefore this, GoDaddy allows Pop3 but Postie wouldn’t connect, I would just get the error “no route to server” but since the last update, its allowing me to connect, but they are all showing the same “# of waiting messages: 0”

# of waiting messages: 0So it thinks its working but its not seeing the emails in the email account.
