    Hello there!

If I understand the last reply in this thread correctly, the plugin translates the user approval email into the language that the user has set in their profile:https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/change-approval-email-language/

Users from Spain and Portugal can register on my website, so I would like them to receive emails in Spanish or Portuguese depending on the language set in their profile, but I am not managing to do so.

With the website language set to Spanish:
If the user has Spanish as their language, the emails arrive in Spanish.
If the user has Portuguese as their language, the emails also arrive in Spanish.

With the website language set to Portuguese:
If the user has Spanish as their language, the emails arrive in English.
If the user has Portuguese as their language, the emails also arrive in English.

    How can I fix this?

Thank you very much for your attention.

    Hi @muddasirhayat,

Thank you very much for your reply. I apologize for the delay in responding.

I am currently unable to send a video showing the steps to reproduce the issue, but I can describe them in detail:

First of all, I should mention that I am using Weglot to make my website multilingual.

    I have tested two scenarios:

    1. The website language in the WordPress settings is set to Spanish:
    • A Spanish user with the browser language set to Spanish, who therefore sees the website in Spanish, registers on the website.
    • They receive an email in Spanish informing them that their registration is pending approval.
    • An admin reviews the profile of this new user, sets the user’s language to Spanish, and accepts the registration.
    • The user then receives the confirmation email in Spanish.
      —————————————————————————————–
    • A Portuguese user with the browser language set to portuguese, who therefore sees the website in Portuguese, registers on the website.
    • They receive an email in Portuguese informing them that their registration is pending approval.
    • An admin reviews the profile of this new user, sets the user’s language to Portuguese, and accepts the registration.
    • The user then receives the confirmation email in SPANISH.

    2. The language of the website in the WordPress settings is set to Portuguese:

    – A Spanish user with the browser language set to Spanish, who therefore sees the website in Spanish, registers on the website.

    – They receive an email in Spanish informing them that their registration is pending approval.

    – An admin reviews the profile of this new user, sets the user’s language to Spanish, and accepts the registration.

    – The user then receives the confirmation email in ENGLISH.

    ———————————————————————————————

    – A Portuguese user with the browser language set to portuguese, who therefore sees the website in Portuguese, registers on the website.

    – They receive an email in Portuguese informing them that their registration is pending approval.

    – An administrator reviews the profile of this new user, sets the user’s language to Portuguese, and accepts the registration.

    – The user then receives the confirmation email in ENGLISH.

What I need to achieve is for the message sent to the user once their registration request has been approved (or rejected) to be sent in the language in which that user registered, or at least in the language configured in their user profile.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Best regards.
