Hello. I have been using the Perfect Brands for WooCommerce plugin for several years. However, after the WooCommerce update that added brands, none of my brand links worked anymore. I added the code that disables the WooCommerce brands but that created a fatal error bringing me to the white screen of death. Consequently, I had to roll back to WooCommerce version 1.0.0. This concerns me because it can present a security issue. Your advice and assistance is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi @melissaod,

I completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially since you’ve been using this plugin for years before the recent WooCommerce update. I can see how important this is to you, and it’s absolutely valid to be concerned. Rest assured, we’re here to support you.

From your explanation, it appears the issue stems from a compatibility problem between WooCommerce and the Perfect Brands for WooCommerce plugin. Ideally, plugin developers should update their plugins to ensure they remain compatible with the latest WooCommerce versions and features.

In this case, I recommend creating a support topic here to get the assistance you need:

While doing some further research, I came across this thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/important-solution-for-brand-display-issue/ where the issue is discussed, and a temporary workaround has been provided. It’s a known issue, and it appears the plugin developers are aware and actively monitoring it.

In the meantime, since you’re using WooCommerce, we’d truly appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave an honest review for the plugin. Your feedback is important to us and helps us continue improving: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/#new-post
