Capacity/Attendees column is wrong

The issue can be seen on event list in Admin, with the capacity column for every event being 0/X when there are attendees (all are missing). I can still see the true registrations and remaining capacity by pressing the stats button. However on the frontend the maximum capacity can currently be registered even though there is not that much available capacity. Is there a known solution to this?
It seems to be the same issue as this https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/event-list-capacity-column-doesnt-show-correct-availability/ However the solutions was a plugin update, which would now mean rolling back for a fix.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
