Hi,
yes, we are getting multiple reports of this
Please check https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/authorization-error-error-403-access-denied/#post-13998096 if that helps with your issue, that’s the best advice we’ve got at the moment. Seems like Google changed some rules about their apps :/

Hi again. This is the way I followed from begining the support link you sent me. I do it but this problem happens every seven exatly days. As I told you, when I go this link: https://myaccount.google.com/u/4/permissions with the account whith google drive folders, it has to appear my api work. But after one week, exatly 7 days, the app created and with permisions conceded, dissapears from my google account permissions. I think that you could solve it, because i have done everything ok and the plugin works fine. But I do not know the reason why after one week, google quit the permissions or something and i have to revoke and concess again manually. Maybe security, but it should be some way to keep it linked and autorised.
Do you think it can be solved? or should I do this process (revoke and concess permisions again) every week?
Thank you
Hi,
I think submitting the Google app for verification should work, but could be more complicated (I have never done that)
We’re trying to find out what changed in the meanwhile…
Hi,
citing Google:
A Google Cloud Platform project with an OAuth consent screen configured for an external user type and a publishing status of “Testing” is issued a refresh token expiring in 7 days.
We need to update the docs, but this should help in the meantime 🙂
So, what do we have to do? When will the problem be solved? Only if we verify the Google app? This is very hard. Tell us what to do if this verification process is so long. Thanks.
You have to either set the app to “Internal” user type (I can do that, but I have Google Workspace and I don’t know if it’s possible outside of that) or set it to “Production” publication status – that means verification AFAIK.
Those are policies set by Google – we cannot “fix” that, I have no power here :/

Hi. Google verified my api after one month.
They need some things, not too much complicated:
– Verify your domain on Google Console
– Submit 2-3 videos explaining the api and scopes it uses
– And some requirements more.
I suggest everyone to verify the api if they want to stop having problems. It takes 3-4 weeks.
Thank you Marek.
