I currently have it set to No but the counts do not show beside “Comments” on the Disqus Thread

hope you can look into this
Hi,
Thanks for your query. Yes. You just have to set it as NO. And I can see exact comments count on the link you provided. What is the issue actually then?
the comment count doesn’t show up in the Disqus thread
beside Community, there should be “X” Comments but it does not appear
Please look on to this screenshot
Is that what you mean?
nope – that’s not what I’m referring to.
that works perfectly.
I’m referring to the actual Disqus comment box at the bottom
for example, take a look at this site
It says 7 Comments.. but on my site, it just says Comments
Ok. Now I understood. Are you sure that it is working when you use official Disqus plugin?
I can’t actually remember.
I have sent in a support ticket with Disqus as well, still pending their reply.
Any idea how to fix? I disabled my minification and all that – the problem still exists

On a sidenote, so “Disable Default Disqus Count Script Loading” only affects the screenshot you showed me?
Yes. It is to prevent loading that count script.
Did you try “Output JavaScript in Footer” option – enable/disable?
This is first time I see this issue. Let me look on to it. Will update you.
Thanks (:
Yes, I have enabled that as well “Output JavaScript in Footer” option
I’m using the TwentyFourteen WP theme
Hi,
Just check with normal Disqus plugin too.
any luck with it? or is it a bug with Disqus itself
Just check with official one also. No issue for others. Just for confirmation.
ah I see. hmm might it be due to the WP Twentyfourteen theme? I had to adjust the css else the formatting would be off.
oh my bad. I tried it with the original disqus plugin – it doesn’t show up either.
