Export/Import Tools Not Working Properly

    Hi generosus,

    The export/import tool is designed only to import just settings of the wpDiscuz, but not the values of the ratings and votes. Those are stored in the Database.

    Oh, got it.

    Would it be possible to expand your export/import tools to capture all post ratings and votes?

    In my opinion, not capturing post ratings and votes defeats the main purpose of your existing export/import tools — especially when attempting to transfer data to a newly designed website or experiencing complete data loss.

    Dear generosus ,

    We’re really sorry, but this is not planned yet. The migration tools are designed for migrating the data from other plugins. It also allows us to migrate the wpDiscuz settings and phrases. But it doesn’t include the wpDiscuz to wpDiscuz data (like votes, ratings, etc.) migration.

    Hi @gvectorssupport,

    It would be great if you could update your plugin in the near future to capture post ratings and votes with your export/import tools.

    Without this enhancement, valuable information is lost when transferring a site to a new host or re-designing a website from the ground up.
