Filename replacement incompatible with serialized data

I think this is a known issue, I checked the following topics :

I wasn’t aware of this issue, and I almost had a heart attack today when I saw the whole content of some pages had completely disappeared. After a day of investigation, I found out the issue was EMR’s option “Replace the file, use new file name and update all links”.

I am using Typerocket’s Page Builder.

Since A lot of plugins use serialized data, I think you should remove this rename option until this is fixed. If you don’t want to remove this option, you should clearly WARN people about this in the plugin description.
