Works nicely, until it doesn’t. I forgot to extend the vacation end date in time, and now the field is red and the plugin settings are frozen. Nothing can be edited and the save button is greyed out. Deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help troubleshoot this, as it just loads the original settings (meaning you’ll have to identify and delete its mysql tables). It’s unclear if this is a nudge to buy the “pro” version.

    Update:
The dev responded and it works. Thanks.

When the vacation end date has already passed, the date field turns red to indicate it’s invalid, which in turn disables editing and saving until corrected. Here’s how to resolve it:

    1. To prevent the store from going into vacation mode while making changes, you can uncheck the “Enable Vacation Mode” option and Save the settings.
    2. Click the “Today” button within the End Date field. This will reset the date to a valid value.
    3. Save the changes.
    4. You’ll now be able to freely update both the Start and End dates.
    5. Re-enable the vacation mode afterward.

Also, no data is hidden behind the Pro version in this scenario — this is not a nudge to upgrade.
