Google Reader Revenu Manager is up and fully operational on my site; however, Google Site Kit Settings continues to say “Complete setup for Reader Revenue Manager”. It doesn’t make sense since the CTAs are publishing and the script is inserted into my pages.

Thanks for opening an individual support topic @douglaskarr. I’d be happy to investigate this with you. In order to do so, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. A recording of your setup experience from Site Kit, and then what you you see from Publisher Center when accessing “More options > Settings > Activate” (screenshot).  You can use a service such as Loom or Zight to share a screen recording, while using the same form to share this privately.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you!

Uploaded. I accidentally submitted without my loom video first, then included it on an additional submission.

Many thanks for sharing the additional insights @douglaskarr, the video was very useful. While I’m checking this with the team, please share the following:

    1. As your site seems to be pointing to Cloudflare servers, can you temporarily pause Cloudflare on your site, before attempt to set up Site Kit one more? Here you’ll find the instructions for doing so.
    2. Does the same occur if you disconnect your Google account from Site Kit before connecting once more, and then attempt to set up Site Kit?
    3. Does the same occur if you reset Site Kit and then set up the plugin once more? Unfortimately by doing do, you will need to connect all prevously connected modules/

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Hopefully with the above, you will be able to complete Reader Revenue Manager setup within Site Kit. I can’t be sure of the cause at present, but I am checking in with the team on this.

Thanks for your patience on this @douglaskarr. From the checks the team performed, it looks like the issue may be related to the site URL being defined in Reader Revenue Manager as http, and not https. To troubleshoot this further and hopefully get the module connected within Site Kit, please follow the steps below:

    1. Visit this link (which is your publication settings for your active publication ID). If this link isn’t working, opening the Manage organization page > Publication Settings > Publication URLs > Additional URLs > Add URL
    2. Add in your site URL with the https protocol (https://martech.zone)
    3. Save
    4. Attempt the set up Reader Revenue Manager within Site Kit once more

Let me know how you get on with the above. Thank you.

I’ll close this support topic given it sounds like the issue was the URL and how it was appearing in RRM, based on your comments in another support topic @douglaskarr.

Feel free to reopen if this isn’t the case and we can investigate this further. Thank you.
