You don’t seem to have the correct user privileges. Do you own this website? Did you have someone develop it for you? Either way, in order to install plugins you will need an administrator account. And then you will find plugins right on the left of your screen.
I do own this website and I am the administrator of this website.
But it seems like I don’t have super admin privileges for some reason…
Can you post a link to a screenshot of what you see when you login?
so to add a plugin just hit the plugins button on the side there.
Lol I explained in my first post that I go there but there is no “Add New Plugin”
Sorry, I guess I misunderstood. Could you send me a screenshot of the plugins page?
Did someone develop this website for you?
I believe I should explain that this is a website for a school council. The owner before me passed on the website to me a few months ago, gave me his username and password. I’ve been having trouble getting in contact with him recently to ask him more about this, so I was hoping someone here could explain why I don’t have privileges to the network/plugins.
If you go to your user profile what does it say your role is?
That I am an Administrator
Are there any other users listed?
There is one other Administrator. Do you think that is the user that might have super admin powers?
Hi, realise this thread is a little old now but I am also having the same problem. I am very new to wordpress and have been watching a tutorial but I am not seeing the ‘plugins’ option on the right hand side of my dashboard so I can’t start leaning about plugins! Here is a screenshot of the menu I have access to:

I do have admin status and there is one other user who also has admin status and I viewed his dashboard and he has the same as me.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
