If I understand correctly, the excerpts are displaying when using a default WP theme and no other plugins?
If that is the case, you will need to activate the plugins one by one and see which one causes the issue.

I tried just my Divi Theme and the issue has appear. So I think it could be related to theme. I contacted support of divi theme.
I’ll let you know what they found out .

`Apologies for the bad experience with this. There are thousands of plugins – I’m afraid we cannot guarantee the compatibility of every plugin with Divi. However, that being said, any plugin that is built with good programming practices should work fine with Divi.
I have just tested it with Divi classic editor, and it’s working fine.
In this case, I suggest you discuss the issue with the plugin support team, and they will help you with that. If they recommend changing anything specific from our side, I am happy to forward that request to our developers.

I just tested on my end with Divi as well, and it works well – the excerpt displays.
It may be one of the plugins used.
Is it possible to disable them and leave Divi active, does it still happen?
Can you please send me a list with your active plugins?

Those really helped! I found the issue, and yes, it seems to be related to Divi.
If you edit the testimonial with Divi’s builder the excerpt will no longer be displayed.
I will go ahead and open a ticket regarding this so our dev team can investigate and fix. Apologies for the trouble!

This issue was fixed by out dev team. You can see the ticket and progress here: https://github.com/WPChill/strong-testimonials/issues/231
However, we are still working on our next update. We will be releasing other fixes as well and our dev team is working on those at the moment.
